  1. Is there a program that records video streams. Or down loads the stream to the harddrive.

Some websites play video streams, and I want to save the movie clips to a disk.

    Any ideas?

Camstudio. It lets you define a capture area, and any video playing on the desktop is captured as an AVI

Warning removd. Camstudio is no longer available....you can't get any reg code at all. You may find the old version. Try this http://www.infoweek.ch/downloads/dl_single.cfm?dl_id=986&sid=0

I've seen this tool suggested in another thread. It's specifically for streaming video. https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=Net_Transport
