    I have gotten a lot of great info and help on this site - thanks everyone! Maybe I can contribute some back. I haven't seen any mention of this free software that I found when doing a search to change an "au" file to "wav".

    I have used it to convert to mp3 and used in my slideshows.

    This sound converter software is free - so I hope it helps someone.
