“The Forgotten” and “Resident Evil, Apocaplyse” freezes Shrink 3.2.0.15 and DVD Decrypter 3.5.1.0.
I don’t have this problem with any other Movie.
How can I back them up?

There's 4 methods listed here:

i have decryptor and shrink, but not AnyDVD or
VOBBlanker, could that be the problem? -
1.IN DVDDECRYPTER(LATEST VERSION) RIP IN FILE MODE->CLOSE IT->OPEN DVDSHRINK->OPEN FILES->BACKUP->BURN WITH NERO OR DVDDECRYPTER.
2.LOAD ANYDVD->DRAG AND DROP VIDEO_TS FOLDER TO DESKTOP->OPEN DVDSHRINK->OPEN FILES->BACKUP->BURN.
good luck -
Did you definitely download the very latest version of DVDDecrypter ?
If in doubt, Google it. -
yes i did, i just did when u guys told me to do everything...i didnt try the drag and drop thing tho...the newestr version of decryptor is 3.5.2 right?
-
Newest Decryptor didn't work for me. Although it ripped it in filemode to the hard disk, when I did a reauthor with DVD Shrink, there were several minutes of black scratchy noise at the beginning on Shrink's end result. Ended up loading up AnyDVD 4.5.5.1 and Shrink blew right through it.

I use DVD43 with DVD Shrink Jimmalenko and Bazooka do you use DVD43 or AnyDVD inconjunction with DVD Shrink?
I am guessong that you don't since DVD Decryoter will remive the encypter and you guys usually with DVD Decrypter?snappy phrase
I don't know what you're talking about. -
I just finished backing up Friday Night Lights without a hitch. Ripped in ISO mode to the hard drive with the latest version of DVD Decrypter. Mounted the ISO with DAEMON tools then open DVD Shrink and browse to the ISO virtual drive and back it up like usual. Whole process took about 2 hours start to finished DVD.

DVDDecrypter & DVDShrink for me ... but being in Australia, I don't have to put up with all this arccos crap
If in doubt, Google it. -
This same process works flawlessly with Resident Evil Apocalypse or any of the other newer releases that are using that new encryption that screws up the sector structure on the disc and causes older versions of DVD Decrypter or your DVD Shrink apps to error out with I/O & cyclic redundency errors.

When I used ISO mode I used Alcohol. DAEMON might be better.

With Friday Night Lights, I just re- authored with titles and main movie only and somehow by passed the protection...
