I was listening to hardradio, but can't access the site for the past day or so. I've checked out a couple other sites, but I'm looking for a couple of good stations for dance, alternative, & country. Well and heavy metal but it seems that they don't refer to it as heavy metal anymore. It seems most of it has been incorporated into alternative.
I never really bothered with net radio stations til a company here bought out most of the local stations and seems destroyed the listening choices.

    thanks.

p.s. Also hopefully some stations that don't do repetitive playing.

  2. I haven't used it in a while, so I don't know if it's still in business or not... but http://www.echo.com was great for a while. You choose what type of music you could listen to... and get points for prizes while you listen. I haven't used it since August though.

Another good site in Bonzaroo.com. It has the usual selection of music choices. The site pays for itself by sneaking in a few commercials now and then.

I used to use AltaVista radio a lot, but they shut it down. A similar site is Barnes & Noble radio (yes, the book people). I'm not sure of the URL though. It had a great feature that would let you skip to the next song at any time.
