We are currently looking to put 6 hours of video on a DVD (dual layer disc) and would like to know what we need to do so (ie hardware and software)
We work with the newest G5 Mac, dual 2.5gHz, 3 gig of ram. We have DVD-R drives and use iDVD for software.
What do we need to burn 6 hour DVD's?
Price is really not an option, but would like to keep it low.
I know dual layer burners are available for PC's and Adobe Encore can configure VBR. I also understand Encore is not avaliable for a MAC.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

Dual Layer burners are available for the Mac, but are not compatible with iDVD. Frobozz was spot-on telling you to get DVD Studio Pro. That purchase would provide professional level DVD menu creation and also give you a copy of Compressor which is a configurable vbr encoder.
