Hi ..
I'm not sure if this is the right place but ...
I have a VCD that is dubbed in both mandarin and cantonese. the problem is that when i try to play the VCD, i get both languages at once. Is there a way I can correct this?
Thanks for your time.

Many vcds are sold like this since vcds are so popular in China where both mandarin and cantonese are spoken. The way these vcds are intended to be played is to turn off one of the speakers, for whichever language you dont want. "If you wanted to actually re-author the vcd with one language you will need to extract the audio. Virtualdub would be the best way. Then use any wav editor and take either the left or right channel, whichever language you want and reauthor a new wav with that channel for both left and right. No matter what you do your still only going to have mono sound though.
