I've used this same software in my last 2 pc builds with no problems.

    I built an A64 system. 3500+, XP pro sp2, 2 x 512 meg ram,
    VIA motherboard

Anyway all the DVD's I've made from my mpeg2 captures work and play fine,

    but...

while editing and cutting out sections I like to replay and review the edit to make sure it's as good as I can get it.

The first preview of a newly loaded mpeg works fine, but every review after that plays about a half second of the end video/audio from the previous replay. Then it plays the new section I cued up.

    The final DVD plays perfectly.

I'm thinking something is hanging in some cache somewhere, but google searching has not helped me figure it out.

I don't want to switch authoring software. I have tried several others and for various reasons I think TMPGenc DVD Author is superior. I'd rather put up with this annoyance than switch.

Anyone know how I can eliminate the repeat during editing?

    Wow!

    63 views and no answer.

I appreciate everyone who's looked and made the effort.

I can't believe that no one else has experienced this.

Reason you got so many views and no answer is nobody has had this type of problem, try and uninstall and reinstall your editing program.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
