Godfather 2 Disc 1

Im trying to shrink both discs so i can have the full film on 1 dvd-r. Ive done the 2nd disc no problem but i keep getting a problem with disc 1. I've tried dvd2one and shrink3.2 but neither programe wil let me do this, is there anybody out there that has maybe tried and succeeded and doing this ? if so how did you manage it ...

i was able to do this. i just ripped both disks to my Hard Drive w/ DVD Decrypter and used DVD Shrink in Re-Auther mode...

Sounds like way too much compression for such a great movie. If I had to put it onto 1 disc, I would put it on a dual layer.

Not for an encoder, such as CCE. I've put Godfather I & II onto one disc each using DVDRebuilder. I ran it through Shrink's reauthor first, then encoded the whole movie onto one disc. It came to around 36% of original size (movie only), but quality is very good. I used CCE basic with 2 pass mode.
