I have bothe the Godfather Trilogy and the Copolla Restoration.

What freeware or shareware tools do I need to to re-edit the entire three films and insert the deleted scenes from the bonus disc to have the entire Godfather film run in Chronological order?

    Thank you for your help

Probably easiest using a mpeg editor like mpeg video wizard dvd($100). Rip first the dvd using dvdfabdecrypter.

They did the whole chronology on a VHS set many years ago, and I suspect that once sales on the Restoration set goes flat, they'll do the chronology again for DVD and Bluray. (I'm still waiting.) Re-purposing and repackaging a winner is always a good way to squeeze extra bucks out of the same material, and Coppolla has a habit of going back to fiddle with his Godfather material.

Even if you tried your own re-edit with the cheapest tools, the cuts-only transitions between certain scenes would be jolting. Baldrick steered you toward Mpeg Video Wizard. That might be your best bet. Just ask yourself if the price is worth it.

Yep. I do lots of ripping. I know how to split discs using DVD Shrink and re- author discs.

I think there is a software that we can use, but it is not a freeware.
