Newbie Question for getting a DVD

hi guys,
i read about ffmpegx and want to give it a try. installation went ok and have successfully demuxed an mpeg-2 file into an m2v and m2p file. when i now want to get the dvd folders (video_ts etc) i pressed mux with the DVD active in the dropdown box, but im only getting a new mpg file. i searched here for an easy guide for just making a dvd filestructure an dthen burn it, thx for your help

Once you have the Mpeg file , you can use your Authoring software to create the VIDEO_TS folder. Look to the left under Tools for more info on Authoring.

When you use 'Mux as..' you will obtain VIDEO_TS folders as well, provided you enable 'Author as DVD' on the left box. But, you should make sure your paths doesn't have spaces or special characters.

thx for the quick answers,
when trying to get the dvd output i had flagged for ..as dvd, so possibly the problem indead could be that there was a space in the directory name, will give it a try thx
