  1. Sorry if this subject has been brought up. I tried looking through the newbies and howtos, but I can't figure it out.

I have a HD movie I recorded from my cable box. The movie is about 11.2GB (2 hours) It's a .ts file, and I'm trying to convert it to an MPG4 file.

It converts fine, and looks great. But it cuts off the last 10 or 15 minutes of the movie.

I've never had this problem. But then again, I've never tried to convert a movie that was longer then an hour.

At first I thought it was the original file, but the whole video is there.

Am I do something wrong? I have a preset created and it set up for:

    Video Parameters -
    Video Size: 624 x 352
    Autosize: 16:9
    Framerate: NTSC Film
    Video Codec: MPEG4 [.AVI] (ffmpeg)

    Audio Codec is: .MP3

Options, it says: Decode with Quicktime

    Tools: Keep Elementary Streams
    -----------

Could someone please give me guidance? I'd really appreciate it.

    Alvin

  2. Try to disable "Decode with Quicktime".

  3. Thanks for the suggestion. But unfortunately it didn't work. I guess I'll just have to keep playing around with the settings. If you have any other ideas, I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Alvin
