  1. Hi. This is my first post, please bear with me.

I've been using DVDFlick to burn my AVIs quite sometime now. However, a few days ago, I encountered some problem when one of my titles on the DVD appears to be only 7 minutes long. The other 3 titles (total of 4) seems to be okay. I've checked the video & audio source and all of them have the same spec as follows :-

    1. Audio source :- ac3 CBR 48000 Hz 2 Channels 192kbit\s
    2. Video source :- mpeg4 624 x 352 1.77:1 SAR 1:1 PAR 29.97FPS NTSC

It was suggested that I try to convert the file before burning again. I've tried to change the audio source from "ac3" to "mp3" while the others remain as it is and still up to no good. I've tried downloading the title from various sites but all of them have the same source (just in case the movie is faulty).

I'm not sure what went wrong. Hope someone can advise me. Please let me know if you need more info.

    Thanks.

Try convert to dvd (or dvd mpg) with something else like the free avstodvd.

  3. Is there any other way besides changing my present authoring software?

Maybe you could try repair the source video, like use divfixpp for avi files.

Or you can still author with dvd flick but convert to mpg with avstodvd. Then import the mpg in dvd flick(be sure to select to no reconvert dvd compliant mpg streams).

  6. Hi. I downloaded from the author's site a "NoInstall Package" but am not sure whether it is correct. I've tried opening the AVStoDVD exe file and came up with some errors. There were so many folders/stuffs to go through. I don't know where to find the column that handles conversion. I've been looking for a guide through the web but so far none seems to make sense to me.

Sorry but would be grateful if you could enlighten me on which package to install and the steps to convert my titles.

    Thanks.

I would use the install package https://www.videohelp.com/download/AVStoDVD_226_Install.exe as it also install avisynth.

I've downloaded the package. However, I don't quite understand what to do first. Would you explain a bit on the above suggestion. How to convert mpg with avstodvd? I've looked through the various paths and couldn't find the suggested item.

    Thanks again for your trouble.
