What does it look like? Is there a transformer in the middle or on the end?
Unpacked after a move, new printer not yet set up. Have a straight power cord which matches the receptacle but was attached to an HP transformer.
Don't know what to call the printer-end receptacle, has two round connectors close together.

its just a cord only, no transformer. It is about 5ft in length and has a 2 prong insertable female end to meet a mail recepticle. Similiar to a standard PC power cord just smaller.

Excellent! Really appreciate your answer, didn't want to fry the printer and I really need to get some color printing done. Thanks!!
