tmpegnc not working right......please help

i have been encoding some files using tmpegnc , and i have been using the option of encoding several; files at once by renaming them with the same name , but different numbers at the end. it was working fine except when i got to the end of the last couple of files , i did the vsame as the other ones i used the same name but different numbers at the end, but now it won't pick up all the files at once, it only picks up one at a time. any ideas .........
