Seems like a weird console - not a PS, not a PS2, not a DVD player.

Just a way to make people pay out money again for the games they already own on PS2. perhpas i'm being cynical, but.....

Be more interesting if it had a HDD for putting media on. memory stick is ok, but....

    Hello,

Yeah though they are a little clunky from what I can tell (don't have one ).

But the Nintendo DS is HUGE compared to the Gameboy Advance SP and that is selling VERY well...

    Hello,

Yeah you never want a 1.0 version of a portable from a company that NEVER has done Portables. This is Nintendo's 5th or 6th incarnation of the Gameboy so they know the portable business VERY well

Though I will say I've been very impressed with my Microsoft XBOX! And that's their FIRST conosole. Granted they used an Nvidia chip (I think) and they license the games. But it still is very good and is still increasing sales of the hardware every year.

If you checked Ebay at Christmas time, the PSP was selling for somewhere around $700.00. Unbelievable. Lik Sang.com had them for sale but were sold out within a few hours. I'd like to see some reviews on them... pretty nice looking.

I know. I couldn't figure out why American buyers would lay out $700.00 for something that possibly wouldn't play American format games.

  16. I saw it on american tv today. Uses 1.4gb mini dvd disks & someday they might have videos in that format. I wish it would use regular size dvds.
