    Dear friends.
    What's the diference between AC3 and MP2?
    What the format that give me more quality?
    AC3 48000 Hz 448 Kbps Or MP2 48000 Hz 384 Kbps?
    If I've a WAV and convert it to MP2 48000 Hz 384 Kbps and after to AC3 48000 Hz 448 Kbps? The quality is the same?

    My problem is:
    I capture the video in AVI format.
    The origial audio is WAV 48000hz.
    When I convert the audio to MP2 48000hz 384kbps the audio stay OK, but when I convert to AC3 48000hz 448kbps the audio gives many snaps!!
    I use Between to convert the audio!!

    you mean besweet? Besweet's ac3 encoder (ac3enc.dll) isn't the best one around, besides creating ac3 files that are not thoroughly compliant.
