Adding a still "notice" to DVDlab Pro

I have a movie with some chapters in it. I would like to add before each chapter a note (jpg, ppt...) saying "X's birthday" and will be displayed for 5 seconds during playback of the DVD.

Easiest way is to create a series of menu pages, then use play lists to go menu notice 1 -> chapter 1 -> menu notice 2 -> chapter 2. This should work. Make the menus last the desired time. Unfortunately you can't run connections from chapters out to other assets, so if playlists don't work, you will have to cut your movie into sections, and place the menus in between.

I like to add a slideshow (just the one picture with your announcement).

Then create a Title Playlist to play the Slideshow, then the Title.

If you only have one video title with many different chapters, you can create a Chapter Playlist for a specific Chapter, then in your Title Playlist, you add the Slideshow, and the Chapter Playlist

Thanks GeorgeW. I created what you suggested, but when playing the movie I do not see the slide I prepared (I gave it a 15 sec delay).
I created a chapter playlist and in the title palylist I added the slide then the chapter playlist. When compiling, I was asked for an empty VMG menu, so I added one. Can it be the problem?
When looking in the connection, I don't see any of the playlists connected to other object such as the title.

Do you have a Menu with a button linked to your Title Playlist? Or are you trying to go without menus?

OK, I made the links.
Now I got a few playlists and each playlist includes a slide and a chpter playlist. Each chapter playlist includes one chapter.
So now, I am working on the project level (not on the title level). How can I jump from chapter to chapter, if my chapters are in playlists at the end?
