I'm personally very pleased with Ilford Galerie Smooth Gloss Paper ($20 for 100 sheets at Sam's Club). The image quality is great, and it comes out of the printer dry enough to trim.

  4. talking about printing dvd covers, its basically the only use my printer gets. my epson c 41ux is absolutely rubbish. I put new cartridges in about 3 weeks ago. I'd print off something once every 3 - 5 days, and without fail, the print heads would be clogged. Lines in print. very infuriating because you'd put your nice sheet of paper in, press print, and you'd get a horrible lined image with no blue in it. Then i have to run the self cleaning program, then test, usually 2 - 3 times, before barely passable results happen. the ink cartridges don't last long at all in this printer, and its not due to printing pages, but blimming cleaning it!

its my own fault, for actually taking it from the shop when it was bundled in with my machine. Blimmin printers are horrible things! ink is always too dear!!

geez thats my first moan for 2005

I use HP semi-gloss photo paper (8.5x11), 15$ for 100. 45lb. Excellent finish, very good.
