    Hi All

    I received a Lite-on DL DVD burner for xmas which i installed.

    However i would just like your thoughts on one thing.

    i have a dvd drive as my master and i installed the DVD Burner as a secondary drive. is this the correct and best way to install a dvd burner. i had a look at the instructions and it talks about having the dvd burner as the master.

    Which is better and what difference will it make?

    I would put the burner as the master and the ROM as the slave.

    In my case I have 2 burners. I put my Pioneer 106D as the master and my cheap Emprex (BTC) as the slave. I'll prolly just use it as a ripper until DL prices come down
