If you haven't tried this yet, unplug it for a few minutes and see if it resets.

no it doesnt giv an error ...
it just says 'No disk'....
after unpluggin it foor couple of houres the problem remains -
What hapened to you is very rare, but i have a friend that had the same problem.
In a nut shell your dvd players chip has been altered.
I know it sounds stupid, but from personal experience some disks (DVD-Rs or DVD-9, or disks that are region free) can cause the chip inside your DVD player to loose all it's data and become unusable. It's the equivalent of Formating a hard drive.
I had a Panasonic that played everything. One day i was watching a DVD-9 region free disk and it wiped out the chip. I couldn't use it anymore.
It was under warranty so i took to the store and they flashed the chip and that restore the original settings.
I don't know what causes it, but it does occur.
If you can take it to the store you purchased it in, maybe they can help you. -
What else do you know about this problem?
Because it happen to me too 5 times two different sony models and yesterday with a brand new onkyo. With brand new dvd.
I had a toshiba for 4 years with no prob.
Now this nightmare.
what can I do I can't keep buying replacing dvd players?
I don't know what's causing it -
I received this error last night on a DVD-R video. I have since played normal discs in it no problems so far, but by reading some other forums it would see mthat the problem is expected to get worse... What is the cause of this C:13:00 error and what is it?Originally Posted by Geforce
I'm searching right now but none of the websites actually tell me what the problem is!
