    Hello,

    http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/4023140/detail.html

Boy I'm glad ebay wasn't around when I was their age!! (not that I was ever really bad.....

But the threat of that is pretty big for that age group...

Aw, man. Yet another Ebay seller comes up with an imaginative story to sell his merchandise. He bought his kids 3 video game systems, yeah right. There's a sucker born every minute.

The man decided that his children were being naughty instead of nice -- and he's taught them a lesson by auctioning their presents on eBay.

The father's solution won't solve the problem.

The only thing that will work is a swift
    kick in the pants.

Don't flame me if you don't know
    what I'm talking about.

It worked about 40 years ago, and it will still work today.

  12. If kids that age are misbehaving, there's a good chance the problem is with the parents....

  13. Why bother with eBay when you can just return the dumb gifts and get your money back?

I'm callin' bullshit on this one, sounds like a publicity stunt to attract attention to his everyday auctions...

    We hear this every year.

The bids fell short of the asking price and he is threatening to reauction or take the stuff back to the store.

I think he was either not getting the price he wanted or got to many phoney bidders (like the one witha -2 rating, etc.). And so he took it back to the store. I stil think it's real though.

    He don't care.

He is in the IT field.

He originally paid $700 for the stuff.

  25. The whole thing sounds fishy. He could simply take the stuff back to the store to make his point. Why does he need to air his dirty laundry in public this way?
