I went shopping last week and found this phone
THE small ASS phone
Anyway, I thought to myself "No one in their right mind would get that...it's just crazy." Went to a party last night...not 1 but 2 friends have this new small phone. Damn...now I need one...

NEC has one for some time smaller -- much thinner (8.6mm)
AND with color display and camera included ...
NEC shows world's smallest mobile phone 1:43PM
One to make western gadget lovers turn green. NEC has unveiled its slim, card-shaped N900 phone (pictured, top).
Promoted by the electronics giant as one of its flagship models, the card-shaped phone measures just 85mm (w) x 54mm (h) X 8.6mm (d) and weighs just 70g. The ultra-compact device supports GSM/GPRS, has a 1.8 inch TFT colour display and also carries a 300,000 pixels digital camera.
The phone, however, will only be made available in China, states NEC.
'The world's smallest and slimmest mobile phone, the N900, is a symbolic flagship product representing NEC's leading position in mobile terminal technology', said Koji Yamasaki, General Manager of NEC China Mobile Terminal Business Division. 'NEC will continue to offer new, innovative mobile terminal solutions, with compact shapes and employ the latest product technologies'.
The pendant-shaped N910, meanwhile, is another new phone. This one is aimed at female users - according to NEC - with its external LCD capable of being used as a mirror. Measuring 52mm x 57 mm x 21.2mm, and weighing 76g, the phone comes with a 300,000 pixels digital camera, 64 polyphonic ring tones and supports motion JPEG video filming for 15 seconds.

motorola looks nice -- $340 it should ...
they also have the windows powered MPx series - as does the Samsung SP-I600 (which also has a intel 200mhz cpu)"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
That sucker is so small, you could lose it easily.
I can think of a couple of views of the future of cell phones. One is a 'communicator' like in Startrek, as a pinned on badge that works like a cell phone. The other is a device that fits in your ear, dialing done by voice command. I'm not sure if I like either of these ideas, but they are probably coming, if not here already.
I suppose cell phone technology could somehow be integrated into our body in the far future. Kinda scary, maybe implants? -

I kind of wish the inventor of the cell phone would have gotten hit by a small commuter train right before conceived the cell phone idea. For all their convenience, they can be really annoying. Besides, what did we do before cell phones? Nothing. We waited until we found a phone. Now, everyone and their uncle Jimbo has a god-damned cell phone! There is nothing more annoying than talking to someone and they stop the conversation to answer their cell phone. Another thing that totally pisses me off... stop ******* with the cell phone when you are not calling anyone or no one is calling you. What is so important that you need to look at your phone and press 15 buttons (making it beep) every 15 seconds? Take your cutsy little cell phone with its SpongeBob ring tone and jam it straight up your ass.
