    Are this discontinued yet?
    JVC discontinued a bunch of models this fall.
    Example: The HR-S7965EK and 8965EK are nowhere to be found.

    that model is still corrent - but is sold in the pro division of JVC here in canada (dont know about usa) , it has BNC connectors for one thing ...
