repeated backup skip problem

I am backing up DVD's using DVDFab. Everything works except on every cd, at exactly the same time, around 9 minutes into the video, the video glitches and the DVD player goes to the start of the DVD. Does anyone know anything about what the possible cause of this problem might be? Could it be the media, the drive, or DVDFab is not creating compliant images.

I use DVDFab to rip the DVD and then put it into image files, then use DVD Decrypter to burn. As well i have used DVDFab to rip and burn all at once, and both methods have the skip problem. That is the only problem, if you fast forward past that part, it works no problem for the rest of the DVD. When splitting to two DVD's each dvd will have that glitch at exactly the same time. It is not at a chapter split either.

Any information on where to persue the solution to this problem would be very helpful.

Never used dvd fab. Looking at what it does sounds very much the same as dvdshrink. I would give shrink a go and see if it does the same.
Could be anything and you havent given any details of hardware used (looked at your comp details but no specific drive details in there....)
