  1. I have win2k Proffessional OS, 768 MB on a 1.33Ghz thunderbird processor and plenty of HD space (about 50 MB free).

I can ripp the movie fine, but when i try to encode the file using flask mpg my computer will crash on me. I tried TMPGENC encoder and it does the same. I know flask works b/c when the file size is about 300 MB it will encode fine, but when it is bigger, like 700 MB it will encode for a while and then crash. I have closed everything out from my task bar.
I'm just trying to encode the video and not the audio. I use PX3 AC3 to WAV to convert the sound and then use virtual dub to combine the audio and video together. This is when i'm using flask.

50 MB free drive space doesn't seem like a lot space left.

  4. Sorry to jump in like this.
I'm looking for old versions of Virtual Dub <1.3d.
Any idea where I might find a copy?
