I inherited a black cat when I got married. She is a mean little thing when she wants to be. She will not attack anything but her idea of "play" is painfull...
My cat back home used to be mean....another black female....until my Amazon Parrot got hold of her. She thought she was Queen Shit until that bone crushing beak got hold of her foot and face.....she never bothered him again...
Oh sure...left alone the cat would eventually win in an all out fight to the death but...she's thinking twice(if not more) about going after The Mean Green Machine again.... -

Personally, I like cats OK but they are too messy, destructive and unruly to have in my house. -
I was so close to throwing both our cats into the cement as our new foundation was being poured a year or so back.... think they would have smelled at all?

Hawkeye, a cat we used to have. 100% black (very rare) and in certain light he was so black he looked bluish.
We think he was cat-napped because it was right before Halloween that he came up missingA vet and an animal control officer told us true black cats are extremely desirable for cults

My cat is that fat it will squash all other cats. Well it would if it wasn't so lazy.

The cat I had when I was a kid, her name was Boo (jet black), she wouldn't chase anything and didn't give a ****. The only time she ever got riled up is if the dog would wake her up.
Now the big yellow Tom cat we had would catch anything and everything. He would bring squirrels, snakes, fish, birds...all kinds of shit up on the deck and just leave it there...which made my mother pretty happy -

If anyone needs a place to leave their cats while on holiday you can leave them with me - they'll get plenty of exercise... :P
Actually... Growing up, all we ever had were cats - Dad hated dogs (was afraid of them). I've also had a few living on my own after University. I'd still have them today if it weren't for Wife/Stepdaughter having allergies. -
