I just tried a 2-pass encoding with TMPGEnc for the first time. (I allways used constant quality).
For a test I took 10 min from a movie with VDUB. I used a average bitrate of 3960 because thats what i would need if i do the whole movie, and a min of 2000 and max of 8000. I tried low quality and high quality for motion search presicion. Every time i get this error: "Invalid pointer operation" after the first pass. I never had this when i did it with constant quality and frameserved from vdub.
Did i do something wrong?
Can i use VDUB and frameserve it to TMPGEnc and still using a 2-pass encoding? (because maybe i need to insert the subs with vdub)
