Koenigsegg? Like "King's Egg"?
(okay, I know the German word for egg is "ei").... -
I was thinking the same thing....."King's something"..
I'm guessing King's Ransom since that is probably what it is worth. -
Ever seen The Gumball Rally? That car broke down constantly.
-
That's one retarded-looking car
Fast ...but ghey :P
-
That's actually their second version of the egg car. They had problems with the first version......

kinda looks like a tommy kaira. hp aint everything, mclaren does about that with less

I'm a "Pocket Rocket" fan myself. I grew up on VW GTi's, Dodge Colt GTS, Dodge Omni GLH and the other 80's screamers....but I'd sure like to try one of the "supercars" at least once. I've driven some CRAZY shit though. Alfa Romeo GTV6, Porsche 928S(straight exhaust - not catalytic converter), 300ZX twin turbo, Supra Twin Turbo, Buick Grand National...and a mid 80's Ford F-150 4x4 4speed with a 460 4 barrel carb. That was one FAST pickup truck...
It was a factory made one too....some idiot ordered it that way then had it re-posessed. -

Would I buy one? No way, not even if I could afford it easily.
Would I like to drive it? Absolutely. I just want to go 200 mph. My cousin races open wheel, he does alright, nothing major, but maybe...just maybe...one day he will land an Indy driving job and maybe I can get him drunk enough to let me hot lap his car for a while -
I haven't been much of a Chrysler product fan to be honest. The Dodge Colt was actually a Mitsubishi and the Omni GLH (Goes Like Hell) was basically "Let's stick a turbo in it and wider tires". That and the Shelby Charger were VERY VERY fun to drive don't get me wrong....those were the highlight cars of my Chrysler phase I went through.
I never knew the R/T's were available as a 5 speed....or I would have looked harder at it.
All I knew of the Spirit was.....Mr. Jones....my neighbor had a Spirit. He was about 125 years old and a devout Chrysler man.
He was SO pissed when I pointed out to him that his LeBaron was a K-Car with power windows and power seats and a different nose cone... -
Sounds cool, although I would never buy one, even if I could afford it.
Im a classic muscle car lover, from the mid 60's - late 70's. Thats where cars peaked for me. There is no sweeter sound (well, except for your woman moaning out your name, but I digress), than a finely tuned engine with a good sounding exhaust. Its priceless.
I own a '79 Camaro with a 350ci (dynoed about 6 years ago at 315hp/335torque), Borla exhaust, hurst shifter, blah blah blah. The HP rating is probably lower now. Havent done much work on it in a few years but it still sounds BEAUTY. Much better than anything else available now. Not knocking Japanese cars at all. They are great. But they sound like ... erm .. mice! All the 18 year olds but them and slap on those "cherry bomb" mufflers and they sound ridiculously stupid. But het, to each their own.
Anywho, to make a long story short ... while that car may whoop my cars ass in the long run, I'll take in my car

Yep....gimme a "The Judge" and I'd be a happy guy as well. My aunt (in her 50's at the time) had a Pontiac Tempest SPORT....which was basically a GTO in Drag. BIG engine...and no power steering.
She had arms like Hulk Hogan... -
A GTO in drag? lol .. thats a pretty funny comparison.
Gotta love The Judge. Two of my all time faves are the '69 Mustang and the early '70's Charger R/T's (like the General Lee).
Typical, I know but its hard to fight it
