After your suggestion to take a couple of weeks off, I voluntarily checked into PWA (Post-Whores Anonymous) for 30 days for treatment. The last week was the toughest. They allowed me into VideoHelp.com to lurk in stealth mode, but would not let me post.

Once I was released, my outpatient care allowed me to take the time to become familiar with the new OT forum rules of conduct, and to catch up on what’s been happening. The Hermit was pretty much dead, but the thought of finding Teegee was too much for me, and I revived him to try to help if I could. Tekkie was not quite ready to return as he still needed to find the wording for his return post.

As you’ve asked, I decided to respond, and save all the unnecessary wording of a specific post. I will merely say, a new tekkieman is returning. He has a new attitude, and a new set of priorities.

With no sentimental or pansy tirade, I offer apologies to anyone who was offended by tekkie before his departure those 6 or 7 weeks ago.

That's a good idea if you can find someone you trust enough not to give it out. If a mamber gives out his address, etc. to another "designated keeper of the list", and then gets stalked, or harassed somehow, will the spotlight then automatically fall on the listkeeper? It would have to be carefully worked out before any actual personal information should change hands. Just my take on it
