  1. hi , i dont know if its dvd shrink ripping too big, or tmpgenc dvd author.
    the video i guess is ripped at 9800 kbs and the audio 192. is there a way in dvd shrink to lower riping bitrate? it says the same with compressed rips from dvd shrink. thx!

    That's just the nominal maximum bitrate and has nothing to do with reality. If you want to know the real bitrate, take the file size * 8 and divide by the length in seconds.

    Neither DVDShrink nor TMPGEnc DVD Author make the bitrate larger. They don't, and can't. What happens is that either when the DVD was pressed, the headers were altered so that programs will think it has a video bitrate of 9800, or the maximum value the bitrate reaches is 9800, or it was truly done at 9800 CBR. Either way does not make any difference whatsoever. Don't worry about it
