  1. I'm not sure what forum this goes in so please move it if this is the wrong one. Thanx

How do you start a "Batch Convert" in Dr. Divx?

I'm trying to convert a bunch (30+) of spongebob cartoons (AVI) to play on a VCD using Ulead DVD Movie Factory. But I can't figure out how to do a batch job. Anyone know how??

    Thanks

Set up each job as you would for a single encode and when you get the 'Encode Video' screen, tick the 'Defer job for batch encoding' option then click on the 'Encode' button and it will be added to the 'Job List'.

Do this for each of the jobs and when you are ready click the 'Start' button on the "Job List" screen to begin the batch processing.

  4. I would recommend using the batch convert in tmpgenc instead of Dr Divx.

Many guides on how to do this can be found in the convert section.

Dr. Divx only does DIVX!!!! Thus the name! Great for takes a ripped DVD say with DVD Decrypter or whatever or directly (With AnyDVD running in the BG ) and directly producing a pretty ecellent Divx,,, as far as Divx goes. Plyed on a DIvx/DVD player on about a 27" TV they look pretty good. A hell of a lot better than some downloads
You will need the avis and then converto to MPG-1 to make a VCD or MPG-2 for DVD. That is just a quick overlook.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
