BETA 6 is out.

Version History:

* Improved AVI to MPEG encoding.
* Improved NTSC to PAL encoding for SVCD assets.
* Updated the multiplexing. All issues with both AVI and MPEG should be resolved.
* Better DVD compatibility.
! No stuttering on AVI conversions.
! Fixed bug with loading projects with AVI assets.
+ Multi audio MPEGs now uses the common style of processing. Thus there should be a vast speed improvement and no sync issues.
! Many other bug fixes.

Registered users can grab it from the Users area as normal.

As usual I recommend a read of the release notes!

In the registered users area there is the link to v2 Beta. That link will always be to the latest one. In this case #6

chrissy just went to help on the beta 2 and this came up build 2.0 1767.15720 is this beta 6 or not because thats the one i had from the site

It's beta 4, dated 1st November with the filename 'SVCD2DVD_2_BETA_4(build 2.0.1764.16449).zip'.

Time to do another update...?

Looks like the menu preview is still broken with 31927 (b6). I click preview and nothing happens. After awhile, I get an "Unhandled Exception".

I have made a small internal fix. It resolves a potential runaway processing issue and an issue with the duration of the menu audio. Please update by redownloading.

Just grabbed the beta 6 with the couple of fixes you made but now opening up any file i get the following error. when trying to add any clips, either avi or Mpg.

any help?

I'm back with more problems......
first problem:
im' setting two chapters with movie clips i create a menu with first ,second and play all chapters ,when playing the dvd selecting play all the fist chapter plays fine but at the end it start all over again from the begining it does not loop to the second chapter.
why is that?

Second problem:"critical".
the same setup 2 clips ,2 chapters ,playing the dvd notice that part of one of the clip is deleted
i check the mpeg rip from the bin and is complete
i check the coverted mpeg and is complete.
I don't know why is this keeps happening i did a few projects and got the same result .
do you know of any body with the same problem or do you have a solution to this issue?

let me know if you need more details, i'll appreciate if you or any body can help me with this issue

Without selecting AC3, DVD has no sound in WM10, while sound is OK in Nero Showtime. Selecting AC3 makes WM10 play with sound.

With 41762, authoring fails when Pal to NTSC is checked. Log messages are produced quickly without the processing occurring.
