    Can anyone help me out , I borrowed a region 1
    version of this film.
    1. Ripped using smart_rip
    2. Tried to use DVD2AVI but it keeps looping ( getting a couple mins into movie then returning to start again )
    3. Tried DVDdecrypt to rip
    4. Went to step 2 - same effect

    Any ideas ???

    Looks to me that this is a multi angle film. Try using Flask instead of DVD2AVI or rip a specific angle with Smart Ripper

    Use smart ripper in movie mode and select only one angel.

    yup only select one angle or use DVD Decrypter and select the mulit angle processing
