  1. OK im in the uk so use PAL, i have some episodes that i want to put on a dvd, one series if possible, how do i do this? I know its possible because i just read this thread
    about doing episodes

any different ways would be helpful.

the episodes im on about are already at 25fps, but i do have some from a different series that are in ntsc and will need to be converted,

I will be burning to DVD+r
    thanks in advance!

finally made the change from cdr to dvds and it looks complex at first glance!

Get a divx dvd player, https://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDname=&Submit=Search&divx=1&Search=Search&co...y=Name&hits=25

    or

use an all-in-one solution like diko, the filmmachine, winavi video converterer, dvdsanta. They can convert to PAL.

    or

convert each using tmpgenc, mainconcept mpeg encoder, canopus procoder and convert the audio separate with besweet, belight. Convert all to pal.

What length are your episodes? Approx 25mins each? If so you only get around 6 or 7 episodes per DVD.

You cant put NTSC and PAL on the same DVD so as Baldrick says you will need to convert if going on the same DVD (dont convert if going on a seperate DVD).

To be honest buying an avi enabled DVD player is probably the best bet, even Argos sell them, expect to pay around £60. You can get around 10 hours of quality avi complete with AC3 sound on ONE DVDr, much more if reduced res and audio.

I think that depends on the resolution and content of the videos. If it's not high resolution or high motion, he could get more than that on a disc--at least 8 or 9.

Also, it's pointless to go above 128Kbps for audio, because that's probably what the source is. Certainly don't go above 160. No one can tell the difference between 160Kbps and LPCM.
