do u guys know what company makes disks that are compatable with the Dynex 8x dvd burner? i also want it to play on my sony dvp-nc875v. i already looked on this website and didnt find anything. thanks.

According to this link, the Dynex drive is an OEM BTC with a Mediatek chipset. From there, your life is much easier since BTC is a fairly popular brand. Try the BTC website, and the dvd writer pages for BTC burners to your left. There should be some media recommendations on both.

He has a BTC drive too if I remember but his is much older I think. Still, it is a useful site.
