    this is old but the first time ive seen it.. anyone ever seen before?
    this is a robitic saw cutting through a pipe in 6000 feet of water. the presure in the pipe is 0psi and hte water presure outside is 1.2 tons per square inch. then this crab comes along.. keep in mind that this hole is only 3mm wide..

  3. What I find even more amazing is the fact that a crab can survive 1.2 tons psi in the first place.

    It should do just fine as long as it has no gas pockets. Water has a hard time collapsing in on itself.

    After the first suck towards the pipe, it looks like all the guts and everything were instantly sucked out of the shell. The only thing left was the exoskeleton. DO you think it felt anything?

    As long as the pressure is equal inside and outside they're OK. Immediately move them from that depth to sea level and they'd explode
