Man Caught On Ladder Allegedly Watching Neighbor Bathe

Officers Shoot Peeping Tom Suspect With Taser Gun

A man in Seminole County, Fla., is accused of using a ladder to watch at least one of his neighbors bathe, according to Local 6 News.

Authorities said David Beech was spotted on a steel ladder by Chris Rudez's mother while she was taking a bath.

"You could see right in and she (mom) noticed him because she heard the ladder and she looked and could see the top of the ladder," victim's son Chris Rudez said.

The woman called her son who called 911 about the possible Peeping Tom.

When deputies arrived, they spotted Beech. Beech then tried to flee and was shot twice with a Taser gun after he allegedly elbowed an officer.

"Apparently this guy thought, 'Well, I've got a lot to lose and I'm going to struggle,'" Seminole County Sheriff's Office spokesman Steve Olson said.

Beech lived within two blocks of the victim, according to the report.

Neighbors told Local 6 News that Beech is married with a daughter.

Local 6 News also learned that Beech was under investigation in Oct. 2000 for allegedly prowling at an apartment complex. However, no charges were filed in the case.

Several neighbors living near Rudez said they had seen someone looking in their windows this year, according to the report.

Beech posted bond and was released from jail Wednesday. He faces possible prowling and assaulting an officer charges.
