Hey guys,
Has anyone had success converting Super 8 video over to DVD? I have a Canon XL2 and an old Bell and Howell Autoload. Unfortunately the B&H doesn't have a speed adjuster on it. I am trying to eliminate the flicker from the picture.

Best to have this done at a quality film transfer house.
Get a MiniDV master that least. If you want the best, get frame by frame uncompressed Tiffs.
Avoid a Mpeg2 DVD Master. You want to preserve the detail and work with future Codecs.
I'm shopping out my family's (and several friends) 8mm film for transfer next month. Hoping to get a better deal for all with a bulk order. Post Christmas is when the top houses are starved for work. -
I did transfer all my old 8mm movie using a filter in virtualdub.
It gave me very good results...

Thanks for the quick replys.
That Goko looks sweet, but it only services Regular 8 movies(I need Super 8) and I was trying to keep the cost a little under that.
