    I burn at 4x with my pioneer burner can i get any more out of it,i use nero burning rom 6.00.23 or should i just be happy at 4x my firmware version is at 1.07.

    Hi there,

    I just recently replaced my 106 with a pioneer 108. The 106 is only a 4x burner so that's the best you'll get. It's a great burner though. The one that I replaced is still working great for my brother.

    Do a goggle for Pioneer and firmware 1.08 and you'll get the Pioneer website.
