I used dvd decrypter and then compressd the movie with Intervideo dvd copy 2 and also with dvd shrink. I got all the vob files in the VIDEO_TS folder. When I click on the VIDEO_TS file to play the movie with Intervideo WinDVD Platinum, it doesn't open the movie. I tried using IfoEdit by opening the video_ts file and pressing on Get VTS sectors, then tried playing the movie again and no luck starting up. I've tried it with 2 different movies and two different compression progams. Is there something else I have to do after compressing the movie before watching?
Thanks.

Well, I just found a small fix. I re-booted my computer and went back to the video_ts folder and played th movie and it worked.

If you run Get VTS Sectors, make sure you save the IFO file afterwards. Also, make sure you know why you're running Get VTS SectorsOriginally Posted by bambamrl
You shouldn't have any need to run it after using DVDShrink or Intervideo DVDCopy..
Were you trying to open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file, or the VIDE_TS.VOB file ? There should be a way to tell your DVD Player software to open VIDEO_TS.IFO in "File" mode, and it should play as if you have just put the DVD into a settop DVD Player. If in doubt, Google it.
