weather.com is starting to suck (ok, have been so for a while IMO).... with their slow speed and pop-all-over shit. Anyone else have a good source for online weather information?

This is what it looks like on my machine - it appears on the bottom-left window edge of FireFox. When you hover your mouse over one of the forecasts, it gives you more detail.

Thanks .... that looks cool.... if you want a 5 day weather forecast can you click the link to bring up any pages?

  4. If you double-click any of the WeatherFox icons, you get a choice of:

    - Yesterday
    - Today
    - Weekend
    - 10 Day
    - Month

...forecasts. I didn't get any popups on the Weather.com page it took me to, but that might be because I run FireFox and don't get any popups anyway.

  5. I just use Yahoo's weather display on the Yahoo home page...then if you want to see the extended forecast, you just click that and there it is 8)

    Hello,

I just usually use my local nbc affiliates website for weather (www.clickondetroit.com). Or yahoo

Though I did like weather.com for the hurricane updates the other month

    http://www.noaa.gov/

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's site... you can punch in the zip code and see a detailed prediction for days out, plus they have excellent radar images - including a looping doplar radar that shows the movement of moisture in your region over the last 2 hours...

They also have TONS of information regarding weather education. It's a pretty impressive website for the information.

During hurricane season, they track all the latest on the hurricanes.

I've never experienced any popups or slowness on it for the last year I've been using it.

I use weatherbug, it pops up ads every now and then, but not often.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
