I have problem watching divx/xvid movies with this player. I should have the newest firmware. If I play the movie then it plays it slowly but not smoothly (like in games you have fps 10, then you experience such thing). I have tried burning CD's slowly and fast but nothing helps always the same problem. There are some movies what it plays smoothly. Maybe someone can help me or have the same problem with this player.

  4. Hmm.. looks ok but there are things Gspot does
    not tell us.

Download MPEG4Modifier from http://www.moitah.net/ (you will need the Microsoft .NET Framework installed, which you can download from Windows Update).

Use MPEG4Modifier to unpack the Packed bitstream.
(Click on the unpack box, and delete the user data)

It may take a minute or two for a 700mg file.
Burn the new copy and see if this has fixed it.

So no one has any solution to this? I only need to know why it plays the second file and not the first?

  7. I think you have run out of quick fixes; how much time
    is this worth to you?

-You could reburn & check for media issues
    - ,, ,, use VirtualDub to check for frame errors
    ,, ,, ,, ,, to strip audio and remux
    ,, ,, ,, ,, re-encode the entire thing

    - check for player firmware updates
    - Try running it through Avi Fix

all these can take a lot of time for a simple movie.

It's definately not a movie's fault becuse there are many movies it doesnt play smoothly but there are lots of movies it plays smoothly too :P it's definately player's fault. But I have the newest firmware installed on the player.

It is simple, I had it too. With MPEG4Modifier you have to unpack bitstream. Also delete userdata. It worked for me.
