Wow. I was expecting CMC or Princo or something, but the media code turned out to be "Ritek R03". I've never heard of RO3, but I'm assuming they're decent since they're Riteks. Anyone know of these? (im wishing I bought more, now)

Ritek R03s have a rather bad reputation as being inconsistent even within the same stack. If you are lucky to get a good batch they can be great media. I don't know how they will work on your LG drive but they started good on my Liteon, then went south. My NEC does very well, however. Watch out for burn speed. They were originally rated at 8X but the burns were so bad that they were re-labeled as 4X. A lot of firmware still sees them as 8X if you set your burn speed to Max. so make sure you set to 4X. Also see here for a good example of weird burns:

All in all, I would buy more but only at a low price. When they work, they are good.Still a few bugs in the system... -
