  1. Hello,

I'm new on dvd ripping and editing, that's why I really appreciate any help.

I need to take some trailers that are on the begining of some DVD movies, but I need them with high quality, the same shown on the dvd and on mpeg2 format.

How should I do? What software do I need?

    Thanks a lot.

    Hi,

The easiest way is to use DVDShrink. You can find all kind of guides and tutorials for it in this site, since it's by far ther most popular program of its kind.
After selecting the source files (either directly from dvd or from hard disk), simply go to "Re-Author" and by clicking on "Set Start / End Frames" a new window will open. From there you will be able to select any part of the film you like.
Then go to "Backup" and create your new dvd file with your clip.
You can also make a compilation of many clips, just look it up in a guide.
    Bye!
