Tested out 1.1.2 with my 1394 DV deck (jvc hr-dvs3u) today and was happy to be able to capture 720x480 at 29.97FPS! Finally! Thank you... Now I can actually use this software (after owning it for 8 months... )

    Now the bad news...

    1. The timer will not start a capture with the DV device...
When I set the timer it will launch the program at the designated time but it does not record! Could this be because you cannot set a channel in the timer menu? Maybe I'm missing something?

    2. Still cannot turn off preview during capture...
My HTPC is a 1.8Ghz P4, 512m ram, with ONBOARD VIDEO. So to 'one touch' capture I have to turn off the preview to free up the processor for encoding!! The previous versions DID allow capture via the timer without the preview but alas, now the timer does not work (at least for my setup)

This program is almost ready to be released... yuk yuk.

This program has been a piece of crap since it's first release.

I agree... There is a small glimmer of hope that some day it will be a cheap solution to realtime soft mpeg2 cap for DV and non-ati users...

Comon... I know you want to see a viable option to add to your FAQs.
