  1. - alas, unable to copy a dvd that was created on a philips dvdr75.
dvddecrypter or nero, and dvdshrink only appears to extract some of the files...

using imation media (+R) - is there something i am doing wrong

the disc has been finalised, and i even get the same problem on +RW discs
    - its as if the philips machine creates some sort of copy protection or something...

any thoughts on this would be most appreciated.

    cheers

If you are doing an exact copy....use DVDDecrypter in ISO READ then ISO WRITE mode. How many hours are on the DVD?

  3. Try Clonedvd. I have a Philips DVDR70 which I use with Sky+. If there is a programme I like such as a sports event etc I copy onto a dvd-rw from the Sky box then use Clonedvd to create a DVD, I can then use TMPGEnc DVD author to edit out the ad's and create my own chapters and menus. Worked fine twice so far.
