I'll think I'll watch NickToons on Thanksgiving. Far more exciting. -
It will probably be a couple of years before the girls get another MNF game.
I see parcells quitting pretty soon because of health reasons.
He has lost control of the team. -
you don't bet against the cowboys or lions on thanksgiving day.

Thanksgiving is cool, its one of my favorite holidays. Not sure what i plan to do though....my young brother wanted me to come down to TX for thanksgiving, but I wont be able to make the trip until next month for Xmas.
Im not sure what I will do for thanksgiving...probably make a peach cobbler, since I usually make it each Thanksgiving, and watch some movies. I dont care for football, since im not that much into sports, so I will find other fun activities to do

We used to have family (my wife's family ..I have no family in Abq) gatherings every Thanksgiving. Everyone would take turns having the dinner at their house...it was fun. In 1992 my wife had this humongous spread for the dinner ....everything you can think of. Even appetizer/snacks like pickled herring, oysters, caviar, sardines, 8 different cheeses, crackers, pressed beef/cream cheese rolls that are her specialty ...she went all out that year. She had had the dinner at our house for the previous 2 or 3 years. Everyone was raving about it as usual.
Then in 1993, we had just moved into the new house they had been building for us since July. Our move-in/closing date was Nov. 3. Needless to say we were unpacking, setting up, I was installing storm doors, building a workbench in the garage...lots of stuff to do, and the last thing we were prepared for was to host a large dinner that soon.
Well ...nobody in her family invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner ...even knowing our situation. Not one, and she has a mother, 4 sisters and one brother who live in Albuquerque. Even after all the work she had done the prior several years ...out of consideration and kindness not mentioning "hey, it's someone else's turn now". She never said that or felt pissed about it.
So ...since then, after that slap in the face, we now have a small Thanksgiving dinner with just her sister Teri and family. The others do their own thing. Although, she said we had been invited to her sister Mary's house this year. But I think we'll passIn-laws ......

Thanksgiving had been my favorite for years until family started moving away. Now it seems we are lucky to get half of us together. I’m driving to Kentucky from Maryland next Wednesday to visit my daughter for the holiday.

Being told what she says (via my translator/wife) pisses me off enough...

Just out of curiosity, what language is it? German?

Probably go out to eat this year(a first) and not hook up with the fam. Leave the day after for Mexico at 5 am so not much room for visitation.
-
not much go to the in-laws have some food ..watch some TV
and leave with food for the next day......the inlaws live 20 min. away so I just want to go and leave ...( way to close to enjoy for me to miss them) -
Football of course...especially since the colts play.
