Tried to play a disc through this player this morning. Turned tv on, a Sharp 25r-s100, went to appropiate setting for DVD playing (input 1 for rear jacks.) Turned Apex on, no screen saver. Haved checked all connections, all in order, all tight. Tried playing disc, audio, no video. Swithed to front jacks, same thing. Should I presume this player to be dead, or, is there something else I can try? This unit is neary 1 year old, neary out of parts warranty. Postage, and, labor fees would make it economically infeasible to send it into Apex.
