  1. Hi

I have got a file that I would like to burn onto dvd, I have clicked on it and it says its a bin file and there is also a cue file as well, but in the actual name of the file it mentions kvcd, could somebody please tell how I would go about doing this so it would work on a stand alone dvd player?

    Thanks in Advance

Take "any" CD writer (Hell, even Nero does this without f*cking up! ) load the cue, hit burn. In Nero, just cancel every "wizard" that pops up, then open the cue under the file menu, Open. A KVCD is a non standard VCD, so should be written to CD-R/RW.
If it will play depends on your DVD player, if it plays VCD at all, and out of specs VCD in particular.

No, with Nero (maybe it varies with version?) Select "Burn Image" on the "Recorder" menu. Select the CUE file. Then burn to a CD.

Actually, both ways are available (at least on my version 6.3.0.2)

You're right. Sorry! If you use File -> Open you may have to use the file type pulldown to select 'Image files..." to see ISO, BIN/QUE etc.

No prob - I'm so used to going the File menu way, I hadn't noticed there was another (and simpler) way of doing it.
