  1. hi i got a small problem here..i got tis divX avi movie file & the audio is faster than the video by abt 1 sec. i checked with gspot & saw the fps of the video is 29.971. so im asking how to change the fps to standard 29.970? if so must i re-encode it to mpg or can i save the corrected file to avi? Thanks in advance.

    Load the file into VirtualDub and set Video to Direct Stream Copy.

    Set the audio to Direct Stream Copy and in the Interleaving option, set the Audio skew correction to 1000 MS. That will delay the audio 1 sec.

    Best to try a short section of the clip to get the exact delay.
